NBA All Star 2002 Live on Sky Sports Extra
For the next three years, Sky Sports will broadcast at least two NBA games each week as the exclusive live broadcaster of NBA basketball in the U.K. and Ireland. This weekend the first live NBA basketball game of the season will be the All Star game from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The NBA Playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 20. The NBA Finals will begin either June 2 or June 5. Michael Olowokandi of the Los Angeles Clippers (the number one pick in the 1998 NBA draft) is also a British player and was raised in the UK since he was four years old. According to the latest research from "Sport England", basketball is the second most popular team sport for young males.
